The same clean geometry and rectilinear form language as BOX — now lifted into the air on slender metal legs. BOX HI keeps the architectural honesty of the original model but takes on a new, lighter presence.

A thin frame and polished steel legs give the sofa a floating impression that brings airiness and light into the room. The gap left between the floor and the sofa changes the whole proportion — mass becomes line, weight becomes lightness. Generous loose cushions balance the coolness of the metal with a soft, inviting layering.

BOX HI is the same sofa in a new stance — for those who want the precision of the design without the visual weight. As at home in a minimalist city apartment as in a gallery-like loft space.
Materials

The frame is made of plywood and softwood – materials that maintain their shape year after year. They are the invisible foundation of the sofa – the part that supports everything else. The seat’s base suspension is built with no-sag springs, which distribute weight evenly across the entire width of the sofa and maintain their tension. The seat cushions have a layered construction, with either wadding or down as the top layer. Wadding retains its firm shape, while down softens and conforms to the sitter – the same structure, two different feels. The back cushions are filled with either wadding or a feather-polyester chip mixture: they conform to the body and recover with a light fluffing. There are numerous upholstery options – from durable, easy-care fabrics to wool, linen, cotton, and leather. Each material brings its own nuance: the texture of the fabric, the play of light on the surface, the feel under the palm. In most models, the covers are removable. The fabric gives the sofa its final character. Every Deverk sofa is made entirely in Finland, with care and built to last. Not to be replaced, but to be lived with.
