DEVERK — DELIVERY TERMS


MANUFACTURING TO ORDER

DEVERK does not stock finished products. Every sofa, armchair, and ottoman is handcrafted with the materials and colors of your choice. We believe in sustainable domestic production — we don't manufacture for stock unnecessarily; instead, each product is created only after you have ordered it.

Good things come to those who wait.


DELIVERY TIMES

Upholstered furniture (sofas, armchairs, ottomans): 6–8 weeks

The exact delivery estimate will be confirmed in the order confirmation. Delivery times may vary depending on material selection and production schedule.

Please note that our manufacturers have summer holidays in July–August, which may extend delivery times during the holiday season.

If the delivery time changes after your order, we will inform you immediately via email.


DELIVERY METHODS

Home delivery
Sofas, armchairs, and ottomans are delivered directly to your home. The carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery time.

— Helsinki metropolitan area: free of charge
— Rest of Finland: delivery cost will be stated at the time of order

Pickup from store
You can pick up your order free of charge from our store:

We will notify you by email when your order is ready for pickup.


DELIVERY ADDRESS

The order will be delivered to the address you provided when placing the order. The delivery address may differ from your home address. Please check that the address details are correct — changing the address after production has started is not always possible.


RECEIPT AND INSPECTION

Please inspect the product carefully upon receipt:

— Ensure that the packaging is intact
— Check the product for transport damage
— Compare the product to your order confirmation

If you notice transport damage or if the product does not match your order, please notify us within 3 business days of receipt:

Please include the order number and photos of the damage in your notification. We will primarily deliver a new product in its place.


ORDER CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel an order before manufacturing has started, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. We will process cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.

Once material procurement or manufacturing has begun, the order cannot be canceled, as the product is custom-made according to your choices.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if insurmountable obstacles arise concerning product availability. In such cases, we will fully refund the amount paid.


RIGHT OF RETURN

All DEVERK products are manufactured individually based on customer choices. The right of return does not apply to custom-made products (Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 16, Paragraph 2).

This does not apply to faulty or damaged products — you can make a complaint about these as described above.

ORDERS CONTAINING MULTIPLE PRODUCTS

If your order contains products with different delivery times, we will deliver all products together according to the longest delivery time.

If you wish for a partial delivery, please contact our customer service — we will arrange it if possible.


FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure, such as exceptional natural conditions, traffic disruptions, labor disputes, pandemics, or import and export restrictions.
