DEVERK — ONLINE STORE TERMS OF USE AND ORDER

1. GENERAL
These terms and conditions apply to the use, ordering, and delivery of products from Deverk Oy's ("DEVERK") online store. By placing an order in our online store, you accept these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to update the content, prices, product selection, and these terms of the online store. We will notify you of any material changes on our website.

3. PRICES
All prices in the online store include value-added tax (VAT 25.5%). Prices are valid at the time of order. Any delivery costs will be stated separately before confirming the order.
4. PRODUCT MANUFACTURING
DEVERK does not stock ready-made products. Each sofa, armchair, and ottoman is manufactured individually based on the customer's order. The customer selects the product's size, upholstery material, color, and other details, after which the product is handcrafted according to these selections.
As products are not manufactured for stock, the manufacturing process begins after the order is confirmed. A finished product cannot be sold as is to another customer, as it has been made based on individual selections.
5. ORDERING
An order is created when you have selected the product, its size, upholstery material, and other features, and confirmed the order in the online store. You will receive an order confirmation by email.
Please check that the information in the order confirmation is correct. If there are any errors in the information, please contact our customer service immediately.
6. PAYMENT
In the online store:

— Klarna (pay now, later, or in installments)

7. DELIVERY TIME
Delivery time is usually 6–8 weeks from order confirmation.
Since each product is manufactured individually based on your order, the exact delivery estimate will be stated in the order confirmation. We are not responsible for indirect damages caused by delivery delays. If delivery is significantly delayed, please contact our customer service to resolve the situation.
8. DELIVERY
Products will be delivered to the address you provided. You can also pick up your order from our store: Madeiranaukio 4, 00220 Helsinki.
Delivery costs:
— Helsinki metropolitan area: free home delivery
— Rest of Finland: delivery costs will be indicated at the time of order
If your order contains products with different delivery times, we will deliver all products together according to the longest delivery time, unless otherwise agreed.
Check the product upon receipt. Report any transport damage within 3 business days.
9. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
9.1 Custom-made products
All DEVERK products – sofas, armchairs, and ottomans – are manufactured individually based on the customer's choices (size, upholstery material, color). Products are not manufactured for stock, and a finished, custom-upholstered product cannot be sold as is to another customer.
According to Section 16, subsection 2 of Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act, the right of cancellation does not apply to goods manufactured according to the consumer's requirements. For this reason, the 14-day right of cancellation does not apply to individually manufactured DEVERK products.
Information about the lack of a right of cancellation is clearly stated on the product page and at the time of ordering before order confirmation.
9.2 Cancelling an order before manufacturing
If you wish to cancel an order before the product's manufacturing has begun, please contact our customer service as soon as possible:

We will process cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis. If material procurement or manufacturing has already started, cancellation may not be possible.
9.3 Damaged or faulty product
If your product has arrived damaged, faulty, or does not match your order, please notify us within 3 business days of receipt:

Please include your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs in your notification. We will primarily provide a new, equivalent product. If a replacement product is not available, we will refund the entire order.
10. REFUND
If your order is cancelled or the product is returned due to a fault, we will refund the payment to the same payment method used for the original payment within 14 days.
11. LIABILITY FOR DEFECTS AND WARRANTY
11.1 Statutory liability for defects
According to the Consumer Protection Act, a product must correspond to what was agreed upon and its durability must be what the consumer has reasonable cause to expect. If the product has a defect, you have the right to have the defect rectified (repair or replacement), a price reduction, or cancellation of the purchase in accordance with the law.
Please report the defect within a reasonable time – at the latest within 2 months of discovering the defect.
11.2 DEVERK Warranty
— Frame warranty: 10 years
— Upholstery and cushions: 2 years
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects under normal use. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect use or care, or direct sunlight. The warranty does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
12. PERSONAL DATA AND DATA PROTECTION

13. COPYRIGHTS
All content in the online store – images, videos, texts, product information, and graphics – is the property of Deverk Oy. Unauthorized use of the content is prohibited.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for damages is the purchase price of the product. These limitations do not apply to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by force majeure, such as exceptional natural conditions, traffic disruptions, industrial action, pandemics, or import and export restrictions.

16. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation.
